Little Good Harbour - St. Lucy, Barbados
LITTLE GOOD HARBOUR is an unusual beachfront boutique hotel situated in a quiet fishing village on the north west coast of Barbados The hotel is on the site of the historic Rupert Fort, which dates back to the 17th century. The shopping amenities of Speightstown are only a short drive away.
There are 21 luxury villa suites, comprising 1, 2 and 3-bedroom suites, including the new Vineyard Suites. 2 suites are beachfront, 13 are in the garden and pool area and 6 are higher up on the hillside, with a separate shared pool and gardens.
All suites have a separate living room with French doors leading out to a terrace or balcony. All offer air-conditioning, ceiling fans, stereo with CD & cassette, TV and VCR. The fully equipped kitchens are furnished with fridge, oven and microwave. Dishwashers are available in the 3-bed. Fort Suite, Vineyard Suites and 2 of the 2-bed. suites.
The master bedrooms have Queen 4-poster beds in the master bedrooms. Each bedroom has a spacious en-suite bathroom.
3-bedroom Vineyard Suite offer double/twin bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large tiled verandah encompassing the dining and outdoor areas and breakfast bar; TV and fully-equipped kitchen (oven, hob and hood, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer). The master bedroom suite has a separate bath and shower, with spacious showers in the remaining 2 bedrooms.
The Fish Pot restaurant is at the water's edge and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte, with a choice of local and international dishes, plus an extensive selection of fine wines. Alternatively, meals can be prepared in suite by a local cook at a separate cost.
The Little Spa offers wonderfully pampering treatments.
There are two swimming pools with sun loungers on the surrounding patio.
LITTLE GOOD HARBOUR and THE ATLANTIS HOTEL, situated at Bathsheba on the East Coast, offer a wonderful "East meets West" experience. Stay at either hotel and spend some nights at the sister property. If you choose not to stay at The Atlantis, then please make sure that you experience the Sunday Buffet Lunch, one of the best on the island.
