Blue Horizons Garden Resort - Hotel, Grand Anse Beach, Grenada
Blue Horizons Garden Resort Hotel is situated on the South West Coast of Grenada, in 61/4 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, 300 yards from Grand Anse Beach.
There are luxurious self catering accommodations in two different categories to suit couples or families, a friendly staff, and one of Grenada's finest restaurants, La Belle Creole.
There are also 2 bars available, The Poolside Bar open from 11 a.m. - 6.30 p.m. daily and La Belle Creole Bar open from 6.30 pm - 10 p.m. daily. Evening entertainment is offered 3 nights each week at The Spice Island Beach Resort.
The hotel offers an Activities Lounge and a children's playground.
Superior studios feature a king-size bed, kitchenette and terrace.
De Luxe Suites offer a choice of king-size bed and double sofa bed; or 2 queen-size beds and a double sofa bed. The maximum occupancy is 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Several of these suites have inter-connecting doors.
All rooms are air-conditioned, with ensuite bathrooms, TVs, ceiling fans, hairdryers, iron and ironing boards and telephones. The kitchenette facilities have a refrigerator, cooker, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery.
Babysitting can be arranged with 24 hours' notice.
Swim in the freshwater pool, enjoy a cool drink at the poolside bar, or relax in the lounge with a good book. The beach is within walking distance, across the road and through The Spice Island Beach Resort. Here you can use the beach facilities and it is possible to set up a "tab" to buy drinks at this hotel.
Blue Horizons hotel has an aviary for tropical birds with 21 different species inhabiting the grounds. Birds that can be found on property include the barn swallow, the violet eared dove, the tropical mockingbird, the broad-winged hawk and the lesser antillean bullfinch.
Beyond this, Blue Horizons and Grenada are an excellent combination for travellers interested in Eco-tourism.
Children under 11 years of age eat free from children's menu, when parents purchase the meal supplements. 12 years and over pay the supplement rate.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in Grenada. There were some friendly, similar minded and really nice guests from London staying in the hotel and everyone got on really well together. The Blue Horizons is a great place to relax, the kids loved it and I enjoyed the absence of continual music by the pool. I misunderstood your website about use of the facilities at the five star resort. We were most definitely not allowed to use the other pool. We were allowed to use the washrooms and there were some sunbeds near the restaurant on the beach. This was never a problem. The only issue I had was the restaurant it was incredibly slow at times. breakfast was extremely good. Dinner was a good quality well presented but a little under spiced. I wouldn't wanted have had more than four nights half board. The people in the hotel are incredibly friendly. Overall, we would definitely go back. Thanks for the recommend.
