The Calabash Hotel & Villas enjoy a secluded bay setting on the Caribbean island of Grenada. Intimate, private and relaxing, Calabash offers suite accommodation, gourmet cuisine directed by Gary Rhodes and high standards of personal service.

The powdery sands of L'Anse Aux Épines beach are breeze-cooled and palm-studded, perfect for gentle sunbathing or relaxing in the shade with a drink from Jefferson's beach bar. Prickley Bay's warm waters are calm and inviting for swimmers or further out scuba divers can enjoy all that is good in the Caribbean sea.

For dining options, Jefferson's opens at lunchtimes, with Barnes's Bar opening during the day.  The fabulous Rhodes Restaurant is open for dining in the evening.

The hotel has thirty suites housed in ten buildings which are arranged in a horseshoe in eight acres of tropical gardens, these comprise superior, whirlpool or plunge pool suites. All have balconies or patios where breakfast is served by your own maid.

Each suite has air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mini bar, hair dryer, wall safe, whirlpool bath, shower, bathrobes, telephone, CD player, DVD player, digital iPod, clock radio, iron and ironing board,, tea and coffee making facilities. As a courtesy to future guests, smoking is not permitted in any suites, only on the patios or balconies.

The suites comprise superior, whirlpool or plunge pool suites.

Bed and breakfast rates (BP) include an A la carte breakfast prepared by your personal maid and served on your patio or balcony each morning.  The unique service at Calabash also includes a welcome cocktail, fruit plate or fruit punch served on the beach each morning, afternoon tea served in the main bar, evening cocktail canapes delivered to all suites; weekly manager's cocktail party, non-motorised water sports, postage for Grenada post cars, green fees at Grenada Golf Club and wireless internet facilities.

The Heaven and Earth Spa is now open and offers personal and tailormade spa programmes and therapies, as well as massage with essential oils to combat stress.  The Spa intends to use the oils and products of Grenada whenever possible.  Treatments on offer will include Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki and Indian head massage, plus facials manicures and pedicures.  A yoga pavilion offers classes.

No charge for accommodation for children under 16 when sharing with parents. Please note: Except 15 January and 15 March 2010 when children under 12 years are not accepted.
