Paradise re-imagined.
Playing on the 'spice' theme, all 64 rooms have been named to reflect the flavour of the resort. The four Royal Collection Suites (Royal Ginger, Royal Mace, Royal Clove and Royal
Sage) and six Luxury Almond Pool Suites are virtual mini-villas at 1,500-square-feet with 16' x 20' private pools, marble bathrooms and beautiful furnishings.
The seven Anthurium Pool Suites are 1,200-square-feet and feature a shaded porch, plunge pool and private gardens.
Fronting the golden Grand Anse Beach are 32 spectacular Seagrape Suites which are 720-square-feet and feature an additional 225 sq.ft landscaped patio with chaise longes and a double hammock. Finished with luxurious furnishings and en suite bathrooms with views of the sea.
Tucked into lush gardens are the 13 Oleander Suites at 620-square-feet. For a new spin on on beach-side elegance, the palatial Cinnamon and Saffron Suites, at 1,440-square-feet each, are situated beachside and are both stylish and sophisticated. They also feature a 450 sq. ft of landscaped patio with chaise lounges and a double hammock. These suites can connect to the Seagrape Suites creating a perfect solution for families travelling together.
Facilities include The Nutmeg Pod, a supervised play area for children of 3 years and above. Included are electronic gaming stations, board games and TV. There is also Sleepy Hollow for those seeking a rest between activities. Each day, a children's movie is shown in the Viewing Corner and a selection of children's DVDs is available for in-room viewing. There is also a selection of children's books available in The Nutmeg Library. Nutmeg Pod is open daily. Children must be fully toilet trained.
Sea and Surf Bar is open daily. Janissa's Spa offers a variety of therapies and treatments at a charge.
Sports include Tennis, a fitness centre and complimentary use of bicycles. There is a central swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Non-powered watersports are available free of charge. Scuba and a hobie-cat lesson at an additional charge. There is a Dive centre on site (at extra cost).
Entertainment, including dance combos, steelband and calypso music, is provided 4-5 times a week.
The Resort is totally non-smoking.
Child Policy:
Children 0-11 years inc. not accepted in pool suites year round.
Children under 5 years will not be permitted in Oliver's Restaurant after 6 pm in High Season. They may be accommodated for dinner in the Sea & Surf Terraces.
Children are not required to adhere to a dress code, but must be properly dressed with shoes at dinner.
Complimentary luxury airport transfers are now included for guests booking Cinnamon, Saffron, Royal Collection and Luxury Almond Suite accommodation.
This Resort has now introduced a Half-Board option for stays between 15 June - 15 December 2010, to allow you the chance to experience some of the wonderful restaurants available in Grenada. This rate will include Room, Breakfast and Dinner; Automatic Golf membership to Grenada's Golf Club; Tennis; Non-motorised Watersports; Fitness Centre; Children's Activity Centre; Complimentary Bicycles; Room Service and Concierge Service; Welcome Drink.
Spice Island will be closed for maintenance between 19 August and 29 September 2010, re-opening 30 September.
