Ladera is St. Lucia's authentic and original luxury open-air hotel.  The ultimate rainforest hideaway with just  32 suites, it is situated at 1,100 feet above sea level. Each villa and guest suite has a private plunge pool and was intentionally built without a fourth wall, allowing astounding views of the island's two volcanic Pitons and fishing village of Soufriere below the resort. The accommodation ranges from 2-bedroom villas to romantic Hilltop Dream Suites, popular amongst honeymooners looking for an ultra-private escape.

The Luxury 2-bedroom dream villa suite with pool:  2nd floor open-air master bedroom with 4-poster king bed, 2nd enclosed bedroom with 4-poster queensize bed and ensuite bathrooms.  Separate open-air living area, dining area, private swimming pool with waterfall. The villas each sleep up to 6 persons.

Hilltop Dream Suite with plunge pool: Open-air private living room and adjacent bedroom with 4-poster kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom.  Private swimming pool with waterfall.

1-Bedroom Villa suite plus plunge pool.  Open-air bedroom with 4-poster queensize bed and ensuite bathroom.  Open-air living room with day bed and ensuite bathroom.  Plunge pool with waterfall.

Gros Piton Suite with plunge pool: Open-air living area, with uninterrupted views of the Pitons and Caribbean Sea, and adjacent bedroom with 4-poster queensize bed and ensuite bathroom.  Private plunge pool with waterfall, mini bar with coffee and tea facilities.  Accommodates 2 adults.

Petit Piton Suite with Plunge pool:  Slightly smaller than the de luxe suites, with smaller plunge pool.  Open air bedroom with 4-poster queensize bed and comfortable sitting area with Pitons and Caribbean Sea view.  Private plunge pool and waterfall, mini bar with coffee and tea facilities.  Accommodates 2 adults.

All rooms are constructed with tropical hardwood, stone and tile and are furnished with furniture made at Ladera by local artists in their own studio.  The all have fabulous views of the Pitons and Caribbean Sea. . The deluxe one-bed and the two-bed suites have a refrigerator with a complimentary welcome pack and coffee-making facilities. The rooms are stocked with hair dryers, iron and ironing board, Ladera robes and beach towels.  Firefly two-way phones are provided to contact Reception and the Restaurant.  Portable DVD players are available from reception, with selection of films for in-room viewing.

Tai Kai Pose (Little House of Rest) Spa offers a choice of pampering spa treatments in an intimate setting. Included are various massage treatments, body treatments, nail care and hair care.

Many recreational activities can be arranged, including Island tours, hiking/rainforest walks with local guides, Birdwatching, Helicopter tours, scuba diving and snorkel trips, sailboat and fishing charters, Climbing the Pitons, all watersports, horseback riding and tennis.  Golf is available in Castries (One and a half hours' drive from the Resort). 

Rates quoted include complimentary full breakfast daily and afternoon tea (St. Lucia style), full use of  resort facilities, complimentary beach shuttle and use of snorkelling equipment.  A Saturday morning Soufriere market tour followed by a cookery class, Airport transfers can be arranged, as can a daylight water taxi transfer from GFL Charles Airport.  Prices on application.

Ladera welcomes children 10-17 years year-round.  During Christmas-New Year families staying with children ages 5-17 years are welcome with free of charge accommodation and breakfast, when sharing with 2 adults.  There is also no extra child charge for periods 12-21 February 2010 and 16 March-04 April 2010, on room and breakfast only.  Adults travelling with children aged 10-17 years incl. can only be accommodated in the luxury 2-bedroom villa with pool category.
