An attractive beachfront villa located on the beach in Black Rock, on the Turtle Beach at Courland Bay. The villa offers outdoor living space for entertaining, and especially good for weddings.

Villa Mirage is well appointed with good outdoor living space, and it has been very comfortably furnished with an unusual decor that makes use of deep bold colours, and dramatic choice of soft furnishings.

The main floor of Mirage is at ground level. With a grand and formal open-plan living area, highly polished with pale marble floor tiles. The walls are an unusual combination of maroon at base and yellow to the top. This colour scheme is reflected in the drapes and cushions. There is a very elegantly furnished sitting area with comfortable cream upholstered sofas and chairs, and opposite it a formal dining area seating eight, with all furnishings and accessories in pale creams. Egyptian and Grecian prints complete the scene. Located off the sitting area is a cosy, air-conditioned study/TV room (with computer and fax machine) and a very comfy sofa that leads out (as does the living area) onto a huge covered terrace.

The covered veranda runs the entire length of Mirage, and is well furnished with rattan and natural fibre tables, chairs and sofas, with groups of seating areas. The main dining area seats eight, with a smaller dining area in an alcove where the terrace juts out towards the pool, which seats four. The veranda has excellent views beyond the boundary walls of the villa, out to the sea and along the sweeping bay.

A spacious and fully equipped main kitchen is located off the living area. Two bedrooms are located on either corner of the villa, one with twins and an en suite bathroom with tub/shower and the other a queen bed with en suite bathroom with shower only. Both bedrooms also lead out onto the main veranda.

Upstairs, a large hallway leads to two other bedrooms, a small spare room with desk and small sofa, and a central family room that can convert into a fifth bedroom. This middle room has its own bathroom with tub/shower, a spacious, room with a fresh tropical decor, comfortable seating and a queen size sofa bed. A partially covered veranda has a small table with chairs and loungers that can be moved to the sun deck, from where there are fabulous views. There are also a couple of hammock chairs suspended from the pergola. The bedroom at the north corner is a comfortable, light and airy bedroom with queen size bed, cot, small balcony and en suite bathroom with shower only.

The Master bedroom is located on the south corner, and has a king size bed with matching cream painted furnishings in a neo-classical style, and small sitting area leading out to a small balcony with sea views. There is a walk-in closet, a large luxurious marble and grey pebble-tiled bathroom with separate, mosaic tiled circular shower and an impressive raised whirlpool tub. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans.

The bedroom configuration is 4 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, each with own ensuite bathroom facilities.

The basement level has a covered area with access to the pool and garden up on ground level accessed by stairs and a lockable gate. (The stairs from the veranda upstairs also have child gates). In the middle section of the basement, next door to the garage, is a large entertainment room with built-in wet bar with fridge, and cable TV with a large L-shaped sofa. There is a separate shower and a guest room. Adjoining the entertainment room and with outside access, is an air-conditioned gym with treadmill and weight machine.

The gardens at Mirage are completely enclosed by walls, which restricts the views from garden level to the sea, but does give added privacy. An inviting infinity-edge, mosaic-tiled swimming pool is in the middle of the garden and is surrounded by a tiled sun terrace with lawn either side. This is 36ft x 20ft with depths of 2ft to 6ft, with a ledge for sitting at the mid section (4ft), entry steps to the shallow end and a ladder to the deep end. There is an additional dining option in the gazebo on the southern lawn area, which also has an unusual pizza oven, with tall chimney and a barbecue.

Mirage has an air-conditioned gym with treadmill and weight machine, which is located in the basement. Tennis and an 18-hole golf course are available at Mt Irvine Bay Hotel and watersports from the beach across the road from the hotel, just ten minutes drive away. Tennis is also available at Le Grand Courlan Hotel, which is about five minutes by car. The Tobago Plantations Golf & Beach Resort, with an 18-hole 72 par PGA championship course, is approximately fifteen minutes by car.

The staff include 2 housekeepers when booked with all bedrooms (only 1 when the house is taken with a smaller number of bedrooms). A cook can be arranged at extra cost.

**Please note that most villas operate a No-Smoking Policy. Smoking is not permitted within the villas themselves, but many will allow smoking on the terrace, patio, balcony or garden. Some villas will not permit smoking anywhere on the premises.**
